Ok - a drunken rant.
I just read than Angelina Jolie is mad at Obama for not doing enough for the Sudanese.
THIS is my problem with Obama. There are many things Obama (or any other president) can't control. Hence the value of checks and balances (health care, war, etc).
However, some things leak through the media storm and turn up: Jolie Upset Obama Not Working For Sudanese".
Damn right he's not. Honestly, he's doing a bad enough job working for the Americans. As Art mentioned last night - the problem most people have with Obama right now (regardless of Party) is his lack of action. Now... I will be the first to say: I have friends who swear he's doing a terrible job. He's a democrat giving the country away for free. I could argue that for days (we saw the start last night). But, at the core, Obama's "Celebrity" is getting in the way of his "duty". And THAT is what concerns me the most.
I educated myself. I FIRMLY believed in McCain. I just put my vote on the candidate I believed could do the most for my ambitions. That doesn't make me better or worse - it make me an educated voter... Nothing wrong with that (no matter what side).
My big issue is the division of celebrity and politics (today's version of chuch and state). There is very little, as we see people of all levels of politics take their power for granted (mistresses, corruption, etc) - regardless of party affiliation.
I think we need to strip-mine Capital Hill and start all over. You know... With people who know the constitution...
Thank you, Budweiser, for getting me fired up...

Oh, now I remember. I drank a coffee beer thing that had me
going until 12:45 am. Conan is kinda funny.
Todd - the bar/ basement is great. Don’t let Tina “kid” it up…you’ve
seen what mine turned into. Anyone interested in beer and legos?
Dave – It’s a catch 22. The beer actually helps me stay calm.
Good thing I was drinking, huh? Not sure what Saturday will bring, but I am
going to try to steal away for a brewskie and a political debate at some point.
